| RAVE Spotlight: Navi Rawat You may not know the name, but you know her face. With those melted chocolate eyes, lush dark locks and practiced pout, Navi Rawat is hardly accustomed to rejection. So when she got canned from FOX's beach bummer North Shore last summer after shooting the pilot, the 29-year-old actress was definitely smarting. "I did the pilot. Then they didn't ask me to do the series," she recalls. "You can't help but feel like you got fired." Luckily, Nawat bounced back quickly. And how? Having earned featured player status on TV hits like 24 and the O.C., the uber-prolific Rawat will soon be the busiest actress-you-didn't-know-was-Desi in Hollywood. She's already scoring big as a math geek on CBS's crime drama Numb3rs. RAVE*SQ spoke with the Miami-bred stunner - sorry guys, she's taken! - about constant surveillance, pregnant teen angst and what it's really like to be brown in Hollywood.
