Anonymous Portraits

I originally visited India not to take pictures, but to study Vedantic philosophy, and that study led to an exploration of the practice of Hinduism. Born and raised in a decidedly secular home, I was intrigued by the extent to which religion is woven into everyday life in India. It is this interest that guided me during my travels through India, and these images are the result of that curiosity.
