Utah Jazz coach Jerry Sloan, the longest tenured coach in the NBA,
denies he is planning to retire after next season. Rebuilding
not in Mailman's plans. Malone doesn't
want to play without Stockton, Sloan. Jazz
have to dig deep to avoid historic sweep. The
Utah Jazz went back to work Saturday, down 3-0 in the Western Conference
semifinals to Portland and knowing they're not likely to find a
flaw in the opposing lineup. Too
