LAWRENCE TALBOT
Lawrence joined VerbFactory in 2004 after serving as Chief Operating Officer of Intuitive Computers, a Maryland-based computer reseller he co-founded in 2001. Under his watch, the company grew its annual revenues to more than $4 million. Previously Lawrence worked at VoiceStream Wireless, where he developed promotional strategies and served as the company spokesman on wireless-data issues. Prior to entering the high-tech industry, he was general manager of a bicycle-manufacturing facility in Vietnam and a mechanic for an auto-racing team. An Eagle Scout, Lawrence is an avid SCUBA diver, mountain climber, whitewater kayaker and amateur radio operator who has lived in Switzerland, Japan, and Vietnam. He holds a B.S. in Environmental Economics from the University of California at Berkeley, and studied international economics at Oxford. Some of us are still awed that he managed to survive bicycling 3,000 miles cross-country with his brother.
